Awesome ski jump, but more than you need for Swany video contest

There are ski jumps and then there are ski JUMPS. Consider this one from 2007 by Jamie Pierre, at the time considered the world record, as an example of the latter in the extreme. In fact, as a couple of the commenters point out, by the time he lands upside-down it’s more of a fall than a jump. But hey, you look at the drop and tell me you want to quibble about style. See the video for yourself.

And it’s worth noting that you don’t have to do anything this extreme to enter Swany’s Outdoor Adventures Video Contest. We’d be happy with a 10-foot jump, or a funny costume on skis or … well, the idea’s up to you. We just want you to enter for a chance to win free gloves and even a helmet cam. Find the rules here and enter.
