Super Bowl means super lift ticket deals

The Super Bowl might be the most-watched TV event of the year, but it’s worth remembering it’s a great day to ski as well, since so many people either attend or host a party. The game doesn’t start until 6:25 EST, well after the lifts close in every time zone but PST, and even then it’s about the same time.  So you can enjoy a full day of sliding and ALSO see the game, without having to endure that boring pre-game show. Even better: there are LOTS of lift ticket deals out there. Liftopia has cooked up 44 deals (in honor of Super Bowl 44) across the country, from New England to Colorado and California. So find a deal, hit the slopes and then enjoy the game.

Did you miss the Snow Show in Denver? Check out a slideshow of the scene, as well videos that shows some daredevil jumping and Swany’s cool new iPhone-friendly gloves.
