Another weekend, another win for Ted Ligety at a Giant Slalom in Val d’Isere, France. That was Saturday. Results were not as hot on Sunday when Austria’s Marcel Hirscher nailed his second run to win the first Audi FIS Alpine World Cup slalom victory of his career.

Women’s world cup: Strong winds forced race officials to call off the World Cup super-G race on Saturday in St. Moritz. In Sunday’s giant slalom Lindsey Vonn and Julia Mancuso finished a respectable 7th and 8th, with Tessa Worley of France winning. Complete results.

Visa U.S. Halfpipe Grand Prix: Canadians were the top dogs on Friday at the Visa U.S. Halfpipe Grand Prix as ski halfpipe made its competition debut in the series. Justin Dorey and Rosalind Groenwoud won their respective events. Find out the rest of the podium and how Jen Hudak and Simon Dumont fared.
