It’s come down to this: Maria Riesch leads Lindsey Vonn by the slimmest of margins with one race to go in the World Cup season. The German finished fourth in Friday’s slalom while the American ran 13th, meaning a three-point edge for Riesch going into Saturday’s season-ending race in Switzerland.
