There was a time, not so long ago, when the ski seemed to be the limit for snowboarding.

Once confined to the backcountry, then only grudgingly accepted at most ski areas, snowboarding subsequently exploded both for recreational and competitive riders, with halfpipes and parks appearing overnight.  It seemed like people were riding everywhere and growing by the week.

Now, however, statistics gathered by the National Ski Areas Association suggests the percentage of Americans at a ski resort on snowboards has stagnated. But that’s not all bad news, according to this story at ParkRecord.com. Read why that is.
