This is not a recording: Lindsey Vonn just won her fourth straight World Cup race

Lindsey Vonn just doesn’t want to lose. That much seems clear after she won her fourth straight World Cup race on Wednesday (Dec. 7), a Super G on the Birds of Prey course in Beaver Creek.

And even though Vonn has won dozens of World Cup races, the victory did represent a first: The superstar had never won a race on American soil (or in this case, ski course) before.

The victory by the skier who now lives in nearby Vail also established a few other records (official and unofficial) that you can learn about (as well as where American Julia Mancuso finished) in this story from Ski Racing.

Want to learn more about her previous victories. Read about the ones last Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Lake Louise.
