Check out a great review of Toast 3N1 mittens by Shayboarder (They work with your smartphone!)

Our Toast 3N1 mittens just got a great review from Shayboarder, one of the most respected voices among snowboarders.

The Toast 3N1 includes, among other things, Swany’s famous Toaster construction, which allows you to zip open the mitt to reveal a (removable) fleece inner glove for better dexterity. Even better: that glove has our I_NDEX finger tip and thumb, which means it is touchscreen compatible, so you can operate your smartphone without removing your glove.

Highlights from Shayboarder’s review:

  • On its bright color patterns: “I like that instead of the simple black, they offer some brightness in the design.”
  • Durability: “I spent a lot of wet northwest days (she rode at Stevens Pass and Mt. Baker in Washington, Revelstoke in British Columbia) in these gloves and they held up to their end of the bargain.”
  • Last Thoughts: “The mittens are designed to be worn in varying temperatures and withstand some cold mountain days … Since my hands get warm easily, I can use the inner glove as my glove when my hands get too warm and keep the mittens in my pockets as spares. Last season was a really good one in the Northwest and these gloves were part of a lot of powder days. I liked that they could hold up in the cold wet conditions and I could use the inner glove to operate my cell phone or camera.”
