Ski resorts opening for 2012-13 season in Washington, California and the Northeast

Killington Resort just opened.

Four ski resorts are open in Colorado, but what about the rest of the country? In a word: Soon.

This story from the Seattle Times has opening dates for the following Washington resorts: Stevens Pass Resort, Mission Ridge Ski and Board Resort, Ski Bluewood and Mount Baker. (Read more.)

California isn’t moving quite that fast, even though Squaw Valley opened briefly last week. (Read more.)
