It’s ON for Lindsey Vonn to compete at Aspen World Cup giant slalom

NOV. 23: Lindsey Vonn took two test runs today in Aspen and later decided she would race in Saturday’s Giant Slalom. Read more.

Nov. 21: Will Lindsey Vonn race in the World Cup slalom and giant slalom in Aspen? It’s been an ongoing question since the superstar was hospitalized for two days last week in Vail with what appears to have been a stomach bug.

Vonn returned to the hill in Vail over the weekend to free-ski on Saturday and run some gates on Sunday. The latest story from the Summit Daily News reports she has done more training at Copper Mountain, which would seem to suggest she is a go. Read the story.

And don’t forget rising star Mikaela Shiffrin and veteran Julia Mancuso will also compete at this weekend’s Aspen Winternational (Nov. 24-25). Read more.
