We’re celebrating our role as a sponsor of the Dew Tour iON Mountain Championships this week in Breckenridge by hosting a party.
That’s right, join the Swany Gloves gang at 8 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 13) at the classic Gold Pan Saloon for an event that will include prizes, glove giveaways and appearances by world-class athletes. Several athletes will be there, all of whom were on the podium last year at Dew Tour, including:
Brita Sigourney: The former UC-Davis water polo player burst onto the ski halfpipe scene in 2010 and scored a Dew Tour win and Winter X silver medal in 2011. Last season Brita won bronze at X Games and wins at the VISA U.S. Grand Prix in Copper and Mammoth. A knee injury ended her season, but she’s ready to go again.
Zack Black: A Summit County native (he calls Breckenridge home) the snowboarder won the overall title on the Revolution Tour last year and is on the Breckenridge Freeride Team.
Kjersti Buass: Born in Trondheim, Norway, Kjersti started
snowboarding at age 12 because “I wanted to be just like my older sister.” That’s been a good decision, considering she was best overall rider at both TTR 6 European and the US Open last season.
So join us to meet Zack and Kjersti at 8 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 13) at the Gold Pan Saloon in Breckenridge.
If you can’t make it to the event, visit our booth at the Dew Tour iON Mountain Championships to be held Dec. 13-16 at Breckenridge Resort in Colorado.
We’ll be showing off our great gloves and mitts, including Swany’s Claw, the official glove of the Dew Tour. We’ll be conducting giveaways all weekend with fantastic prizes.
