Goepper’s final run enough to top Harlaut, Woods in Men’s Slopestyle at Winter X

Nick Goepper used a big third run to stave off a hugely talented field in Men’s Ski Slopestyle on Sunday (Jan. 27) at Winter X Games in Aspen.

Goepper’s first run (92.3) looked big enough to win, but it took a brilliant third run (94) to stave off Henrik Harlaut (92.6) and top qualifier James Woods (91.3).

Henrik Harlaut, who had produced late-night magic on Saturday to win Big Air,  started slow but scored big when it counted on his third run. Woods came through on the third run as well (92) to secure his place on the podium.

Complete results.
